About Me

I am a game developer with a focus on game and narrative design. I have a background in computer science, literature, and philosophy. My main interests are interaction design, game prototyping, and narrative world-building. For the last four years I have worked in the game industry ranging from mobile to AAA development. Narrative Designer - Gala Games
Jul 2022 - Today

For the past 6 months I have been working on the narrative design of Mirandus, an MMORPG based on the Gala blockchain. In this role I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to create game lore, characters and maps, and conduct the development cadence of game content.

  • Recovered base elements to developed a core narrative setup for MMORPG universe.
  • Created content for three bosses and nineteen maps.
  • Built content development pipelines to organize development.
Game Developer, Jr. Adv. - Globant

For almost two years I worked as a UI Game Engineer at the xDefiant project for Ubisoft.

  • Collaborated with the team in Bug-fixing for release process meeting goals during sprints.
  • Collaborative remote work with teams across the world with professional English level proficiency.
  • Learned the Snowdrop engine visual scripting tools to build small systems inside the Weapons XP progression and info screens, the UI scale system settings for CVAA requirements, and Font rendering inside the UI.
Game Test Automation Engineer - GMR-Globant
May 2021 - Jul 2022

After a year at Giant Monkey Robot, I started working as a QC Automation engineer in the platform team for the NBA Clash game.

  • Used AltUnityTester framework to integrate and expand a custom UI automated testing tool for the project.
  • Automated test cases for main interactions, reducing workload for QC team in daily smoketests.
  • Prototyped integration of system into CD pipeline through bitbucket hooks and jenkins.
Game QC Analyst - Giant Monkey Robot
May 2020 - May 2021

My first job in the game industry was at Giant Monkey Robot as a Game QC Analyst.

  • Integrated the QC process into the agile development cycle.
  • Created and performed test cases for each feature.
Hypermedia for Knowledge Exchange - Instructor - Pontifical Catholic University of Chile

During the Computer Science Ms, I had the opportunity to work as an instructor in the ‘Hypermedia for Knowledge Exchange’ lecture inside the Computer Sciences department. This was essentially an introductory course of Media Theory for undergraduate students of the Literature and Linguistics department.

  • Collaborate to design and update an introductory course syllabus every year.
  • Implement the syllabus during a full semester course for fourty students.
  • Develop project-based learning strategies during the semester.
